I've been lucky to encounter wonderful people in my international work. At the moment, I focus my efforts on Global Eyecare Academy and partner with international associations and practices to treat patients, teach medical professionals and patients, and work on improving cultural understanding. This commitment allows me to provide sustainable solutions and contribute to the advancement of eye care in underserved communities globally.

Agua Prieta

Across from the US Board adjacent to the town of Douglas, AZ, Agua Prieta is approximately a 2 hour drive from Tucson, AZ and a 3.5 hour drive from Phoenix, AZ. There is an established clinic for eye exams and eye surgery.

Hermosillo

Sonora, Mexico

Home to close to 1 million people, Hermosillo is located in the heart of Sonora. It is a 4.5 hour drive from Tucson, AZ and a 6 hour drive from Phoenix, AZ. A 1.5 hour international flights out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport are available. This location hosts trips for exams, school screenings, and eye surgery.

Puerto Penasco Sonora, Mexico

Located in a beach town 3.5 hours south of Phoenix, AZ and Tucson, AZ the clinic hosts monthly trips to perform exams and eye surgery.

Sonoyta

Sonora, Mexico

2 hours from Phoenix, AZ and 1 hour from Tuscon, AZ, this town sits right across the US border and has an established clinic for exam and surgical screening.
